Throw Candy While Moving in Fortnite
If you want to throw candy from a vehicle in Fortnite, you need to know where it is and how to carry out that action, which isn’t immediately obvious since you don’t have the option to do it while you’re driving. While inside a vehicle, only passengers have access to items from their inventories, but this does not mean you need someone else to help you accomplish this spooky task as you can do it by yourself without relying on anyone else.
For the Fortnite Fortnitemares event, candy is back in the battle royale, and it offers a variety of benefits, such as boosting your health and shield, providing thermal vision, enhancing your speed, or reducing gravity so you can leap and bound all over Fortnite. During this event, Fortnite will give you a Halloween-themed quest that requires you to launch treats from your ride three times. Here’s how you can do it.
Fortnite Candy Throws From a Vehicle
Fortnite requires you to find sweet treats before throwing them from a vehicle, but there are many ways to do this. In addition to receiving a treat in the form of candy if you ring the doorbell at any house until it breaks, many residential properties around the island have buckets of treats buried in their decorations.
The Fortnite characters have started selling candy during this Halloween event too, so if you see one near you, you can also ask for Bars from them. Even though you can use many different treats for this quest, the Zero Point Pretzel does not count towards it – it isn’t candy anyway.
After you’ve collected some treats, you can start throwing candy from a vehicle in Fortnite. However, you’ll notice that your inventory disappears when you get into a vehicle and you can only use the usual driving controls. If you click on the right stick and follow the Switch Seat prompt to become a passenger, you can highlight candy in your inventory. You can use the Aim trigger to shoot out of a window and utilize the Throw trigger to launch candy. As long as the vehicle is stationary, you can do this by yourself. If you don’t have three candies to throw, you can collect them before repeating the process using the same ones.
