The Fortnite Inkquisitor (or Fortnite Inquisitor) is a new NPC boss introduced in the Fortnitemares event in 2022. The task requires defeating them at Grim Gables, which you must do to complete it. In a battle royale, you have to work together to defeat bosses, and while it isn’t impossible to do it on your own, it’s much more challenging.

Fortnite Inkquisitor Location
Fortnite Inkquisitor can be found at Grim Gables, a relatively new point of interest to the north of the island, where Shifty Shafts once stood. You need this information if you want to locate this NPC boss in the old mine shafts.
In the northwest corner of Grim Gables, there’s an entrance to the mine shaft with a yellow digger – you can also access this area through the shed in the corn maze to the north of the house, but the open entrance is easier. Inkquisitor will spawn in this room shortly after you enter the circle of six fires that light up when you enter.
Defeating Fortnite Inkquisitor
You can defeat Fortnite Inkquisitor if you enlist the help of your entire squad. By attacking from different directions, you will be distracted from the boss, which means you are not all hit equally. You will still receive credit for defeating the Inkquisitor as long as your squad deals some damage. You can do this solo, but you’ll need plenty of skill.
With Firefly Jars and Jack-O-Launcher weapons, Fortnite Inkquisitor will quickly destroy the starting mine area, causing tremendous damage with accurate rocket strikes, so flee immediately.
Keep moving and ducking behind cover to avoid incoming fire, then chip away at the boss’ shield and health. For maximum protection, use items like Med Mist and Shield Potions.
