Is it possible to watch Netflix on the Nintendo Switch?

Nintendo Switch doesn’t support Netflix, but there are a few other streaming services. Officially, anyway. Netflix doesn’t have an app in the eShop. The Nintendo Switch offers only Hulu, YouTube, and Funimation through the eShop at the time of writing. Also, Netflix isn’t available on the console’s web browser. There’s no way to do it.

Android is available on Android, so you can watch Netflix on your Nintendo Switch. Nintendo doesn’t support this complicated process. Only people who know the process and the consequences should try this. It’ll void your warranty. It’s best to keep hoping Netflix will support the Nintendo Switch soon.

There was a time when Netflix apps could be downloaded for both Wii and Wii U, but that has since been discontinued. There will be no Netflix app available for new Netflix users in the eShop until December 31, 2020.

The Netflix app will have to be uninstalled by June 30, 2021 for those who are currently using the Netflix app. The Netflix service will no longer be available on Nintendo consoles. As of right now, you will have to use another device in order to watch Netflix on the Nintendo Switch, as it currently only offers limited streaming options.
