Classes and Subclasses
Choosing one of the Destiny 2 Classes for your character is the first thing you’ll need to do if you’re a new player because this will decide their Guardian function inside the Destiny universe, which in turn will dictate their skills. You can have several different Super abilities and more by choosing to be a tough Titan, a quick Hunter, or a sagely Warlock.
Three Subclasses are available to you once you’ve selected your Class and formed your characters; additional Subclasses can be unlocked by completing the campaigns of specific expansions. More Subclasses can be switched between at any time. Additionally, you may use Fragments to change your Subclasses’ Aspects, which are likened to their Subclasses, to give them additional abilities, allowing you to design unique and potent builds for diverse activities, like our Destiny 2 Solar builds.
Tips
Destiny 2 is a rather intimidating game that may be challenging to get into because it has a tutorial that is only really little and new content that is released fairly frequently with regular seasons and large annual expansions. Weekly Reset
The weekly reset for Destiny 2 is one of the most crucial game mechanics to be aware of. Best Exotic Weapons and Armor
The loot rarity system in Destiny 2 is very basic, with different colours denoting the quality of various items of gear—yellow denoting the greatest rarity, Exotic. There are many Destiny 2 Exotics to select from, so follow our guide to determine which ones you should prioritise. In addition to a solid Subclass build, your Guardian will also need a collection of some of the best Exotics to be ready for any action. This is how the complete gear rarity scale operates:
- Exotic (Yellow) = The rarest and (usually) best gear in the game. You can have only one Exotic weapon and armor piece equipped at once.
- Legendary (Purple) = Powerful gear that will be the majority of your equipped items.
- Rare (Blue) = Middling gear that is sufficient when levelling up.
- Uncommon (Green) = Weak gear that’s used only for early levels, if at all.
- Common (White) = Poor starting gear that you can quickly forget about.
Heroic Public Events
You’ll benefit greatly from knowing how to start and finish Destiny 2 Heroic Public Events when you’re out on patrol. Every Public Event in Destiny 2 has a secret objective that must be completed in order to be Heroic; some of these objectives can be found accidentally, while others require a lot of attention. Once an event has been upgraded to Heroic, finishing it will result in higher rewards and significant Glimmer payouts.
Crucible
You can compete against a group of other Guardians in objective-based games in The Crucible, which is Destiny 2’s version of arena-based PvP. You may need some Destiny 2 Crucible hints to aid you out because it’s such a drastic change of pace from all the other PvE activities.
Additionally, The Crucible hosts regular events such as the weekly Trials of Osiris, which begin on Friday, and the Iron Banner, which only occurs a few times per season and lasts a full week. The ultimate tiny Crucible battle, Trials of Osiris pits two teams of three Guardians against one another in an elimination phase. Get on a winning run and you’ll be handsomely rewarded, plus you might win a trip to the Lighthouse where you’ll find even better loot. Gambit
A distinctive Destiny 2 mode called Gambit blends PvE with a little frenzied PvP. Season 19
In the ongoing Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph, the Guardians are engaged in combat with Xivu Arath’s Wrathborn army and are working to revive Rasputin, a former solar system protector, as well as the Warmind AI.
