You will need a flying vehicle to reach the top of the Map, higher than the Sky Islands themselves. While you can use the Flying Machine\/ Glider to do so, you will need to utilize the Ultrahand Ability in order to attach a new Flying Machine onto your old one, allowing you to jump across without losing the Machine due to its ‘battery life’, which eventually despawns. As a result, you should ascend with a Flying Machine while holding another. In Link’s hands, this will appear smaller and glow. 3 Flying Machines can be found outside Nachoyah Shrine, which is the best place to ascend.<\/p>\n

As soon as you are ready, set a Waypoint to Hyrule Castle and begin your flight over the Hyrule Regions. Drop from the Flying Machine and glide down once you are directly above the Castle. From here, you have the freedom to enter the Castle grounds and although you will not be completing anything story-related due to the fact that you are nowhere near it Quest-wise, you can explore the Castle, gathering Royal Guard armor and gear while avoiding any enemies in and around Hyrule. It is also possible to access the Castle using the Ultrahand and Fuse Ability, but it requires a lot more materials, such as Fans, Planks, and Zonai parts.<\/p>\n

You can fast-travel to the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, which provides a great view of Hyrule Castle. With your paraglider, you can glide straight into the Castle. To continue the ‘Crisis at Hyrule Castle’ questline, you will need to complete the Main Quest ‘Regional Phenomena’. This will lead you to the Castle to find Zelda and battle the Demon King. As soon as you enter, things get intense, so keep that in mind. Whenever you want, you can leave and return to continue the quest. The Royal Guard loot can be found mostly in the main entrance area of Hyrule Castle, so be sure to look out for it.
