<\/p>\nHaving played the various independent games Closer the Distance and The Sims, I have compared it to a mix between the two, and I am eager to find out more about it and how it differs from those games. I look forward to seeing more about it and discovering more about it in the upcoming weeks.<\/p>\n
It was announced earlier this month during ID@Xbox, that this game would bring together two worlds in a way never seen before, and this game will bring the two worlds together in a way that has never been seen before in the gaming industry. I would like to point out that Closer the Distance is a life simulation, and it is comparable to Life by You and The Sims 4, but it has a more emotional, narrative-driven aspect to it, which reminds me of Life is Strange or perhaps even What Remains of Edith Finch, which is one of my favorite shows as well.<\/p>\n
It is clear from the video below that the game carries a typical life-sim style of gameplay, but it also has a very compelling, unique and very moving storyline that is worth taking a closer look at.<\/p>\n

In the game, the objective is to give players the opportunity to take on the role of Angela, a young girl from the town of Yesterby who loses her life in a car accident after she becomes involved in an accident caused by a reckless driver. It is important to note that Angela will still be able to watch over her family and friends, but she will also be able to use her new ethereal ability in order to influence the townspeople she once knew and help them through their grief process with the influence that she now possesses.<\/p>\n
There are a lot of themes that you could possibly imagine for the upcoming sim, and some of them might include empathy, community, friendship, grief, and closure, among other topics. There is a certain amount of importance to the choices the player makes, just as in the Life is Strange series, as they will play a crucial role in what happens to the town in the end, just as the decisions they make in that series have a significant impact.<\/p>\n

In addition to the fact that this game was developed by Osmotic Studios (the same developers that developed the Orwell series of games), Skybound Games will publish it as well, the same company that publishes Telltale’s Walking Dead series, which you are likely to have been familiar with from your previous experiences with. According to the game’s developer, the game will be available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 4 consoles sometime in 2023. However, the developer has not yet announced a specific release date for the game, but it is expected to be available sometime in 2023 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 4.<\/p>\n
