<\/p>\nUsing the new character Edge to whittle down minions along the way, the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Giant Wildclaw boss battle must be completed at a distance. The Wildclaw itself is the first major antagonist in Mario and Rabbids 2, and when we say big, we truly mean big. It’s a massive brute with shockwave-launching melee attacks that can take a beating while dashing around. To beat the Giant Wildclaw in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, there are a few effective tactics that we’ll cover in our strategy guide.<\/p>\n

While the Giant Wildclaw in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope may appear to be a tiger, its behaviour is more akin to a furious gorilla. It moves a short distance towards the damage’s source as a free action without using any action points when it gets damaged, even when it is not in its turn. If it moves into melee range, it instantly follows up with a powerful strike that deals enormous damage (between 300 and 600, depending), possibly even harming other surrounding allies.<\/p>\n

For this reason, it is never a good idea to approach the Giant Wildclaw; always battle from a distance. Since the Wildclaw lacks any ranged attacks, you can utilise this to your advantage by avoiding its path and preventing it from touching you. There will also be additional rivals in the arena that will teleport in through portals that can be eliminated before they spit forth fresh adversaries.<\/p>\n
You also have Edge, a new friend who was just introduced for this particular battle and who was probably made when one of the Rabbids fused with a dozen different Final Fantasy heroes. You will need to use Edge carefully because she is mostly a melee character in this fight and risk getting squished under the Wildclaw’s foot if you don’t.<\/p>\n

Edge cannot be replaced; you must battle alongside her in the party. The other two, however, can be changed. As indicated in our Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope best teams, we advise Luigi and Rabbid Peach as a reliable lineup for any boss fight. Edge should concentrate more on the other minions than the Wildclaw in order to thin out the group of enemies while Luigi and Rabbid Peach battle the monster and administer medical aid.<\/p>\n

If you have some Sparks that concentrate on defence and concentrated damage, give them those instead of focusing on elemental damage because the Wildclaw is immune to all elements and “Super Damage” types. It’s time to organise your crew now that you have them.<\/p>\n

You’ll have to fight the Giant Wildclaw for a while before it is defeated because it has 2870 HP. When you defeat it, the battle is over and you don’t have to deal with the other minions. The conflict is finished, and Edge and her Spark will be on your team going forwards!
