<\/p>\nThe best way to describe Puzzled Places is that it’s beautiful. Described as a 3D jigsaw puzzle game, it’s the most relaxing PSVR experience. By putting together 3D dioramas of things normally challenging or impossible to make as traditional puzzles, you play into its unique appeal.<\/p>\n
You’ll get around 20 puzzles out of the box. Coastal towns in Italy, castles in Sweden, and so on are among the locales and settings. You’ll be constantly building something new because of the variety. A number of expensive DLC packs are also available, so it would have been nice to see more of that content included with the main game as well.<\/p>\n

You’ll find yourself in a softly lit void where you can tweak the colors, lighting, and more. The ambient music provides a soothing backdrop and fun audio cues. You can hear diegetic audio of what’s happening in the image, whether it’s choir, church bells, or crowd noise, depending on the puzzle you build. The game is quite magical, and everything works together to make you feel at ease.<\/p>\n
It can also be extended to a long time, as you can choose between 25 and 400 pieces for puzzles. If you choose 400, you’ll be occupied for a few hours, but it’s worth it, especially on PSVR 2. The resolution bump makes a huge difference here, as you can actually see the details on the puzzles. Seeing sticky notes clearly in one of the environments stunned us.<\/p>\n
Our save was corrupted during a hard crash, wiping out almost an hour of puzzles. You just have to hope the game cooperates to let you finish! As long as the developer issues a patch promptly, this is PSVR2 at its most relaxed.<\/p>\n
