Knowing when to upgrade in any way in Fire Emblem Engage will be the key to success. Your resource management is likely to be difficult to maintain in the long run if you promote units too early or refine weapons that drop off in damage late-game.<\/p>\n
Namely, refining allows the player to upgrade any weapon up to five times \u2013 as indicated by the plus next to the weapon\u2019s name. In order to obtain the highest grade of any weapon, all resources should be put into refining it to the highest standard. You should always adopt any available animals after battle, and when you do so, choose those that would be most useful to place in the Outside Shelter. They are typically all dogs for the amount of ingots they drop.<\/p>\n
