While the Dead Space remake is faithful to the original with a few changes, it’s not completely the same. Along with the alternate ending, new secrets are hidden on the USG Ishimura.<\/p>\n

In this Dead Space remake guide, you\u2019ll learn where to go, how to find these Easter eggs, and how to find the secret sea shanty.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

HEAD TO THE BRIDGE THEN BREAK ROOM<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You must enter the cheat code for the Easter egg and free nodes simultaneously. But it won’t be available until the fourth chapter, “Obliteration Imminent.”.<\/span> When the Brute necromorph is dispatched in the Bridge’s Main Atrium, the elevators will unlock. Taking the elevator closest to where the Brute appeared will take you down to Floor 1 for the Reroute Power from Electrical Systems objective (you can return here at any time).<\/p>\n

Exit the elevator and walk down the hall until you see the Break Room on the right. The Break Room has a circle painted on its floor (we hope it’s painted) and the Aegis VII Marker video is playing.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

DO A LIL’ DANCE<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Place yourself in the center of the circle. You will perform melee strikes (R1)<\/strong> and stomps (R2)<\/strong>. Isaac steps forward with every attack, so you have to move him back and forth between each punch and kick if you want to keep him in the circle.<\/p>\n

SEA SHANTY<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As you stand in the circle, hit: melee, stomp, melee, stomp, melee, stomp, melee, melee, melee, melee, melee, melee, stomp<\/strong>. You can view the buttons here: R1, R2, R1, R2, R1, R2, R1, R2, R1, R1, R1, R1, <\/strong>R1, R2<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A red video screen will appear ahead of you, and an audio log will appear next to it. Take a listen and you’ll hear a nostalgic callback to 2020.<\/p>\n

TEXT LOG<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In this code, the handprints are punches and the footprints are stomps – painted around the circle.<\/p>\n

If you want to locate a secret text log, you can use the following commands: melee, stomp, stomp, stomp, melee, stomp, melee, stomp, stomp (or R1, R2, R2, R2, R1, R1, R2)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Again, the screen will flash red, and a text log will appear. Praise be to the Markers, and to Altman, their eternal prophet.<\/p>\n
