Along with Kindness, Courage, and Wisdom, Charisma is one of your character’s four Virtues. Whether NPCs like you or not is directly determined by your Charisma stat. You can forget about quests if your Rapport is too low, and if your NPCs don’t trust you enough to talk to you.<\/p>\n
In Lost Ark, Virtue points are automatically divided among all four Virtues as you earn them. You can boost your Charisma through any Virtue boost, although there are other ways to do so. There are several ways to raise your Virtue in Lost Ark:<\/p>\n
Completing quests is your primary method of raising Charisma. You will receive a blanket Virtue boost upon completing most sidequests, short missions, or hidden substories. Be sure to read the fine print before accepting a quest to see what you’ll get.<\/p>\n
By chatting with the various NPCs in New World, your Rapport level will increase. In other words, your Charisma directly affects your Rapport, opening up more dialogue options and quests. You might get a quest that gives you more Charisma if an NPC trusts you enough. It’s all about charisma, rapport, and quests. This is a great feedback loop.<\/p>\n
Want to be more charming? Have a drink! Not alcohol, but a Charisma Potion. Your Charisma stat will be instantly boosted ten points if you consume any Charisma Potions you find on your travels. Potions like these can’t be traded or sold, so you might as well down them.<\/p>\n

For Virtue boosts when there are no missions or quests available, check Una’s Tasks. Upon completion, Una’s tasks provide Virtue boosts, as well as Charisma boosts.<\/p>\n
By clearing important quests or reaching certain milestones, you’ll gradually unlock Achievements. The rewards for achievements are generally Charisma-boosting Titles, if you’re lucky. Unlocking a Title grants its buff permanently.<\/p>\n
It’s easy to become more charismatic with gear. When equipped, certain pieces of gear can temporarily boost your Charisma stat. Charisma bonuses can reach 20 points with rare pieces of gear!<\/p>\n
