A leak “tsunami” may have spoiled 9 months of updates<\/h2>\n

In what has become a near-unprecedented “tsunami” of illegally dumped Genshin Impact updates and characters, nearly a year’s worth has been leaked.<\/p>\n

As a big batch of allegedly Hoyoverse-sourced data circulated over the weekend, the fallout began. A huge amount of info is leaked, from update 3.3 all the way to Fontaine, the next Sumeru-sized region, slated for update 3.8 around July 2023.<\/p>\n

In previous leaks, many of these topics have come up, but never all at once and never with so much evidence. Approximately 36 weeks of leaked content, with new characters, bosses, weapons, events, areas, and more. In spite of how broad this leak is, it’s limited in terms of actual assets because it’s server-side. It’s not like Genshin Impact’s infamous 1.5 update, which spilled a development build online and led Hoyoverse (then Mihoyo) to crack down on leakers. Even so, it seems much worse than the Sumeru and Dendro leaks around update 3.0.<\/p>\n

All of this information is subject to change, especially when it comes to when certain characters will be released and even what weapons they’ll use. Due to the nature of the leak, we won’t link to anything. In addition to user data for multiple Hoyoverse testers, several known Genshin leakers have pointed out. Many prolific leakers have given up on this leak because it’s so dicey.\u00a0 Ubatcha, a leaker with over 450,000 Twitter followers, said she removed ALL her tweets from today just to be safe. “I don’t condone how the data was obtained, and I wasn’t involved in getting or distributing the original data.”<\/p>\n
