Geralt of Rivia returns in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The moment I started playing, I was hooked. The first game since Shadow of Mordor that has completely consumed me. I’m afraid to pick up this game sometimes because I don’t know when to stop. Each benchmark I reach paves the way for another. This game has the best story line. It’s been a long time since I was so captivated by a story. It is an exception to my rule that I cannot stand games that don’t allow me to play online right away. I’m always playing the next quest to see what happens next. This has already taken several hours and will take several more.<\/p>\n

I must say that this game’s graphics are incredibly beautiful. I haven’t tried games on the PlayStation 4 yet, but I can’t imagine they would differ too much from Xbox One games. No matter which console you play on, the developers have put a lot of work into this game. Occasionally, the scenery looks as if you’re in a movie, and Geralt was very well portrayed. Incredibly, his beard grows back with time. There aren’t many games that pay attention to such small details.<\/p>\n

Roach is easily The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s downfall, as with any great game. Despite having amazing trophies, Roach holds this game back from stardom. This humble and loyal steed may provide fast transportation between quests, but he may also be annoying. Turning him around is a chore in most cases when he gets caught up on objects. Turning around may take Roach a second or two, depending on how sluggish the control process is. Without Roach, this game would be tedious, but with him, it is difficult. His ability to stay on a trail can be poor even on autopilot.<\/p>\n

As a result, I am a little disappointed with the Roach mechanics. It is a small oversight on the developer’s part, but I do not believe it diminishes the sheer excitement of playing the game. Since I haven’t seen the whole game yet, I can’t give it a full review, but at this point I would have to give it a 9 out of 10.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
