<\/p>\nPlay with Your Food offers a taste of experimental, oddball games from the early days of PlayStation Network. Food is celebrated digitally, but not in terms of table manners; you can mess around with gastronomic vignettes.<\/p>\n
The game has no objectives or plot, so it’s more like a toy than a game. In each level, you can learn about a different meal or cooking process, which gives you the opportunity to cook creatively, either making beautiful meals or causing chaos. With various tools and spells, you can manipulate food and other objects even further. Change the colour, shape and size, dance everything, and set it on fire.<\/p>\n

You’ll be entertained for quite some time by this funny little game. The game doesn’t have a tangible objective, but you can still play with food, stacking hamburgers in a sphere, tossing tapioca balls in milky tea, or simply cooking things in the microwave. You can use the basic photo mode to take Instagram-worthy photos, whether you want to go wild and create hundreds of objects and constellations, or something more intricate, like American breakfast or ramen.<\/p>\n
Compared to a full-fledged meal, Nour is more of a quick snack. It is like a packet of crisps, with lots of flavor but quickly over. You can nibble through this game in an hour or two, and then you’re given more ways to mess with each level, but there isn’t much incentive to return. We didn’t stay with the game long, even though it uses the DualSense’s features well, and it looks and sounds great. There’s no denying that everyone’s taste buds are different, so you may enjoy experimenting endlessly with this, but for us, it’s just an appetiser.<\/p>\n
