Sad news for the rest of us: the Hogwarts Legacy PlayStation Exclusive quest is a unique mission you can only get in the PS5 version of the game. Not only do you need a PS5 copy of Hogwarts Legacy, but the exclusive mission is easy to miss out on unless you follow a specific line of inquiry. It’s also only accessible after making your way through a fair portion of the game and completing Charles Rookwood’s Trial, so you might want to focus on those main quests first.<\/p>\n
Haunted Hogsmeade Shop sees your character becoming the proud owner of their very own Hogsmeade shop. Teenagers can apparently own a business in the wizarding world, but there is a catch: it’s deliciously haunted by one nasty piece of work poltergeist. Unless you’re particularly terrified of spiders, The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop is one of the few Hogwarts Legacy quests that leans heavily on the side of all-out horror. Expect creepy faceless mannequins, everchanging dark, dank corridors, and even a few light jump-scares to boot.<\/p>\n
If all of that sounds right up your diagon alley, here’s how to begin the PS5 exclusive Hogwarts Legacy mission and see a whole new side to the quaint wizarding village.<\/p>\n

You won’t get access to the Hogwarts Legacy PlayStation Exclusive quest until after you’ve finished the second trial – Charles Rookwood’s Trial.<\/p>\n
After this, you can head to Hogsmeade and look out for a mission marker.<\/p>\n
The mission itself is called “Minding Your Own Business”. It starts will speaking to a house elf called Poppy who’s sweeping outside an abandoned shop. The mission will lure you in under the guise of running your own Hogsmeade shop, with the option to sell your wares from potions to ingredients.<\/p>\n

However, once you’ve bought the shop from Cassandra Mason for a mere 1,500 coins, you’ll be asked to retrieve some items for her from a chest. Thus, chaos ensues.<\/p>\n
After the quest, you’ll gain your own shop where you can sell your gear and items. According to Avalanche your own shop will offer you “better rates than anywhere else”.<\/p>\n
You’ll also get the pretty badass Shopkeeper’s Cosmetic Sets, which you can see below and consists of a hat, coat, and outfit.<\/p>\n
