Here are the monsters that I use for Leos in Hell Mode difficulty.<\/p>\n
I find Leos the hardest mini boss to deal with because of his Focus and Rage immemorial runes. The most basic\/common way to deal with this boss is just use Chow (water Dragon Knight) on your team. Due to his passive, he cannot be killed by Leos’ rage rune. You just\u00a0hit auto and focus your attack on Leos. However, that would take a lot of time.<\/p>\n
With the team that I use, the trick is how you handle the trash waves first. You have to make sure that Chloe ALWAYS<\/strong> has her S3 (Fanatic<\/em>) ready before you move to the next wave. Timing and managing your skills are the key in passing this stage. Don’t use Katarina’s S3 (Sword of Discharge<\/em>) right away since she might take out three mobs already. Just use her S2 (Soul Reaper<\/em>) and that would give stack to Odin. Also, I don’t use Jamire’s S3 (Illusion of Time<\/em>) on the trash waves. I save it to be used on the boss battle later.<\/p>\n Once you reach Leos, make sure to destroy the Focus rune first as this will allow Leos to freeze your team even if you’re willed up. Since my Odin (wind Lightning Emperor) goes first before Katarina (wind Valkyrja), I let him 1-hit the rune then use Katarina’s S3 (Sword of Discharge<\/em>) on the remaining ones.<\/p>\n I usually focus my attack directly on to the mini boss even if the remaining rune is the rage rune since I would still be under Chloe’s immunity buff so he can’t insta-kill my team. Of course, Jamire is there to reset everyone’s skills so that we can finish the boss on the second round of attacks. Although, I must say, Katarina’s AI is so dumb. Sometimes, she would hit her S3 on the boss once, and then the rest on the remaining rune, smh. And there are times when she missed to crit (even if she’s on 90% plus CR). That’s why I made sure to make her CR at 100%. However, there are times when the RNG gods would decide to bestow their blessing on you, and so she can basically strip 2\/3 of Leos’ HP.<\/p>\n Since my Katarina is at 100% crit rate and my Odin is at 95%, I opted to use Hraesvelg’s lead instead of Odin’s to increase their attack power. Also, I use Jamire here as a support unit, so I’ve put him on fight runes instead of the usual violent runes.<\/p>\nBoss battle<\/h3>\n
