Get Netherite Armor in Minecraft
Netherite armor in Minecraft is one of the best in the game, boosting your protection against some of the toughest enemies you can face. As part of the Minecraft Nether update, Netherite is better than Diamond, and can even survive submerged lava. Netherite armor is an essential piece of late-game gear, so we’ll show you how to make it in Minecraft.
Craft a Netherite Armor Set In Minecraft
Players must obtain a different set of armor in Minecraft and upgrade it effectively to craft Netherite armor.
1. As a starting point, you need to get some Minecraft diamonds and craft diamond armor. Each diamond armor piece corresponds to a piece of netherite armor in the game.
2. Obtain a Smithing Table. You can buy one from a village or make your own by placing two iron ingots over a 2×2 square of wooden planks.
3. A Diamond armor set piece should be placed on top of a Netherite ingot in the Smithing Table.
4. By providing a piece of Netherite armor, it will be able to upgrade Diamond armor into Netherite armor.
5. You should repeat this step for every Diamond armor piece until you have collected all Netherite armor pieces.
It is important to note that upgrading Diamond armor in this way actually carries over existing enchantments (and lost durability) over to Netherite armor, instead of creating a fresh, unchanged piece.
One of the biggest bonuses to everything Netherite is that it floats in lava too! Netherite armor has +1 Armor Toughness, +1 Knockback Resistance, and considerably higher durability than Diamond armor.
Netherite armor is safe if you die in a cave or in the Nether, provided you get back before it despawns. Your armor will take a while to acquire, but when you do, you’re set for far in the future.
