Diving into the World of Cyberpunk 2077: Map Size, Fast Travel, and Exciting Locations Unveiled

The complete Cyberpunk 2077 map gives you a good idea of how big Night City is, and they’re even planning to add Dogtown soon. Knowing where all the fast travel points are will be super helpful because it’ll help you get around quicker. And, while the size is impressive, there’s a lot of variety in the style and density of what you can find as you explore.

The map is filled with icons, and it might seem overwhelming at first, but it’s not that hard to handle once you break it down. There are filters to help sort things out, making it easy to see what you need. Plus, you have a journal to help keep track of what you’re supposed to be doing.

Below, I’ve got a complete breakdown of the Cyberpunk 2077 map for Night City, covering its overall size, different districts, and more. Let’s dive in and see what you’re in for.

Cyberpunk 2077 Map Size

By playing the game and measuring across the map, it’s roughly 11km tall and 10km wide, putting it in the range of 100-110 square kilometers (rough in-game measurements included). That’s measuring the entire map, including the less populated outskirts – the core playable area is probably a little over half of that.

No official figures have been released for the Cyberpunk 2077 map size. However, CD Projekt Red did mention before release that it would be a bit smaller than The Witcher 3.

Cyberpunk 2077 Full Map

This is the complete playable area of the Cyberpunk 2077 map. It consists of the city, with six districts, as well as the Badlands and surrounding regions. The blue lines represent roads, giving you an idea of the overall layout. By the end of the story, you’ll explore nearly all of it as various missions take you to the major locations.

Each area is self-contained with vendors, services, fast travel points, and more. This means you can stay in an area for a while as you explore without having to go elsewhere for supplies.

Most of your time will be spent in the city itself, which is divided into six main districts, each further divided into sub-districts. Different gangs control most areas, and each has its unique style:

Each area has its own look and feel, reflecting its status, whether it’s run-down or affluent, and this is evident in the people, shops, and buildings you’ll encounter.
