In Lies of P, Pulse Cells are super important for healing, especially early in the game. You start with just three of them, and the last one can regenerate if you defeat enough enemies. But it’s smarter to go into battles with lots of healing items. So, I’ll show you how to get more Pulse Cells in Lies of P and make them work even better for you.
Increasing Your Max Pulse Cells in Lies of P
To increase how many Pulse Cells you can carry in Lies of P, you need to reach certain points in the story or get some optional upgrades. Here’s how to get them all:
- Beat the Mad Donkey boss and talk to Geppetto (1 extra Pulse Cell).
- Defeat the King of Puppets boss and talk to Geppetto (1 extra Pulse Cell).
- Fill three “Increase Pulse Cells” perk slots in Phases 1 and 2 of the P-Organ (2 extra Pulse Cells).
- Buy “Increase Pulse Cells” Survival perks (3 extra Pulse Cells).
These are all the ways I’ve found to increase your maximum Pulse Cells in Lies of P. Starting with the three you get at Krat railway station, you can have a total of 10 Pulse Cells in one playthrough. Seven of them can be discovered or bought during the game. However, only the first two are required by the plot, so you might end up with just 5 Pulse Cells if you choose to invest your resources elsewhere.
Boosting Pulse Cell Healing in Lies of P
If you want your Pulse Cells to heal you more, you can do that too, using the P-organ. In Phase 3, there’s a significant Perk Slot called “Enhance Pulse Cell Recovery” that does this, and there’s also a level 3 Survival Perk with the same name. Grab both of them to make your Pulse Cells heal you more. And if you need even more healing help, there are perks that speed up your Pulse Cell recharge or reduce the damage you take when you run out of Cells.
Pulse Cells play a crucial role in healing early in the game Lies of P. To maximize their effectiveness, players can increase their maximum Pulse Cells through various means and enhance their healing capabilities with specific perks and upgrades, ultimately enhancing their survivability in the game.
