Character Abilities in Wayfinder

In contrast to most MMORPGs today, Wayfinder doesn’t allow players to choose their race and class. Instead, you’ll select a champion. It has a wide range of heroes to choose from, each with unique abilities, skills, and playstyles. However, what is the best ability for each character in Wayfinder? Come on, let’s find out!Wayfinder’s Best Character Abilities

The game launches with six characters to choose from, including:

You can choose the playstyle that matches your personality with each one’s unique set of abilities. Wayfinder has something for everyone, from stealth to area-of-effect damage to the iconic tank class found in other role-playing games.

Best Abilities for Wingrave

Wingrave, the tank-like class of Wayfinder, is often considered one of the weaker starting characters in the game, but when played right, he’s a monster. Aside from that, Wingrave offers high damage output and healing abilities to keep you and your team alive, making it one of the most versatile classes in the game.

It’s a toss-up between Judgment and Righteous Strike for his best ability right now. This time, however, we have to go with the latter. The Righteous Strike slams into enemies with an explosive melee attack and heals teammates nearby. A two-fold combo that can turn the tide of battle!

Best Abilities for Silo

In Wayfinder, Silo is often considered to be a bottom-tier character. Silo is capable of controlling the entire battlefield, dealing with an entire mob of enemies solo despite what the community thinks of him.

Combined with Silo’s Fire and Oil Bombs, he creates a devastating area-of-effect attack that can deal a lot of damage to mobs. Use oil bombs to coat the field, then fire bombs to ignite the mess and light up the bad guys.

Best Abilities for Niss

Niss would likely be the community’s favorite character in Wayfinder. Her various skills, which allow her to dodge and dash out of danger, make her a top-tier glass cannon capable of stealth and quick movements.

If we had to choose just one best ability for Niss in Wayfinder, Umbral Aura would be our choice. It imbues Niss with Umbral magic, causing her next three dodges to deal shadow damage to nearby enemies. Besides tactically retreating and living to fight another day, chances are you’ll take an enemy with you!

Best Abilities for Senja

Wingrave is definitely a versatile tank, but Senja is the ultimate tank-like class. Her devastating attacks and defensive buffs keep her and the team alive. However, she is quite slow.

In terms of Senja’s abilities, we must choose Lightning Pull. There is nothing more thrilling or captivating than this ability. Lighting Pull uses a bolt of lighting to pull a large group of enemies toward Senja. You can use it to control low-level mobs before a boss fight.

Best Abilities for Kyros

Choose Kyros if you want to play a traditional DPS class in Wayfinder. With a deadly combination of magic and melee, he deals massive amounts of damage to foes. Like Niss, however, Kyros is a glass cannon with little in the way of defensive capabilities. When your enemies are dead, you don’t need defense!

Among Kyros’ abilities, Siphon Radiant is his strongest. An explosive spell that releases a massive wave of energy around Kyros in a circle. It deals high damage, absorbs arcane power, reduces cooldowns, and grants one Arcane Fragment. With Siphon Radiant, a lot is happening. For some breathing room, pop this ability if your enemies are getting too close!

Best Abilities for Venomess

As a healer or debuff machine, Venomess is ideal if you enjoy playing MMORPGs as a support class. If you enjoy status effects, she’s perfect for you. She deals damage over time with poison, needles, and bombs.

Venomess’ Deep Breath, however, is her strongest ability. In addition to dealing damage, Empowered Venom also applies 5 stacks, which deal additional damage over time and count as Venom for the Master of Venoms and Transfusion. Since Venomess’ abilities tend to debuff, it’s best to play her in a group, but that’s not a requirement!
