It’s still a great console since it came out in late 2020. Gameplay runs smoothly on its SSD, it performs better than PS4, and its DualSense controllers have new features.
PS5 could still do a lot better, though. The majority of them have nothing to do with its performance or hardware. It’s more about UI and quality of life. Here are our suggestions for improving the PS5.
Backwards compatibility with more PS4 games
The PS5 currently supports backwards compatibility with a limited number of PS4 games. Extending this support to more games would make it a more attractive option for those who are upgrading from the PS4.
A more powerful CPU and GPU
The PS5’s CPU and GPU are already very powerful, but they could be even more powerful. This would allow developers to create even more visually impressive games.
More storage space
The PS5’s internal storage is 825GB, which is enough for a few games. However, more storage space would be appreciated by those who want to download more games or store their games locally.
A better UI
The PS5’s UI is not bad, but it could be better. It could be more user-friendly and easier to navigate.
More exclusive games
The PS5 has a good lineup of exclusive games, but more would be welcome. Exclusive games are a big selling point for consoles, and more would make the PS5 more attractive to potential buyers.
A better online service
The PS5’s online service, PlayStation Plus, is not bad, but it could be better. It could have more features and benefits, such as better discounts on games.
A more affordable price
The PS5 is not prohibitively expensive, but it is still a bit pricey. A lower price would make it more accessible to a wider range of people.
These are just a few of the features that would make the PS5 better. With time, Sony may add some of these features to the PS5.
