Kill the Goblin Leaders in BG3 With These Options
Baldur’s Gate 3 goblin leaders must be killed to help tiefling refugees escape. It’s up to you, but since you’ll probably be level three this early in the game, you might not want to get swarmed by goblin hordes.
We’ll show you how to kill Priestess Gut, Minathra, and Dror Ragzlin. Baldur’s Gate 3 is a huge game with so many ways to achieve the same end, but our secret weapon will be an imprisoned druid, a well-timed arrow, and a ladder. It’s time to beat all goblin leaders. Here’s how to do it fast and fluid.
How to Defeat All Baldur’s Gate 3 Goblins
- Priestess Gut: Get her alone and assassinate her privately using parasite persuasion
- Minthara: Use Halsin the druid for heavy attacks or break the bridge as she crosses
- Dror Ragzlin: Hide and use ranged attacks, then climb ladders to attack
Goblin Leaders in Baldur’s Gate 3: Priestess’ Gut
The easiest of the goblin camp leaders in BG3 is Priestess Gut, so cast Friends on her. You may not even need to do this when you convince her of your True Soul status. You will meet with her in her private chambers to discuss your mutual affliction, so follow her away from her fellow goblinkind’s prying eyes. She cannot call reinforcements, so the fight will be easy.
Goblin Leaders in Baldur’s Gate 3: Minthara
A single arrow is all it takes to kill Minthara, the drow leader of the goblins. We go through all of these options in our Baldur’s Gate 3 Minthara guide. To help Minthara attack Emerald Grove and slaughter everyone inside, speak with her in the goblin camp. After you tell her its exact location, she will finally leave her desk and follow her lackey across a bridge in the middle of the chamber. A deep, dark chasm suspends it.
You should aim your arrow at Minthara’s bridge until it is highlighted in red, indicating it will break on impact. You should save your game beforehand in case you miss and need to reload. Alternatively, if you want to steal her fancy outfit rather than lose all the loot along with her body, you can fight her head-on with a little friend.
BG3 Goblin Leader: Dror Ragzlin
For the easiest way to defeat Dror Ragzlin, find Halsin and free him in Baldur’s Gate 3. While he’s huge and imposing, this bear-shifting druid is a hard-hitter who can kill low-tier enemies with his single paw and deal significant damage to high-HP enemies like Ragzlin. You can free Halsin from the Worg Pens behind Minthara’s chamber and take him to Ragzlin.
When you reach Ragzlin’s chamber, have everyone crouch down and shoot the guard outside Minthara’s chambers. Once you find the key, open Ragzlin’s chamber with everyone crouching.
As you climb the rafters, you can attack the king and his crew with ranged, elemental, or AOE attacks, especially if Halsin is nearby. Before my party even entered the battle, I chose to have each of them shoot Ragzlin from a hidden position, dealing more damage and chipping off more health. Stay on the rafters during the battle if you do not choose to go stealthy.
By defeating Ragzlin, you will have completed all your tasks in the Goblin Camp!
