There is an early access release of Starfield scheduled for September 1 and a full release a few days later.

It is important to note that there are a few Starfield release dates to keep in mind, since Starfield will launch on September 6 but early access begins a few days earlier. I happen to think that for both the launch of the early access phase and the launch of the full release, the time will be the same around the world – midnight GMT – which means that you will have to do a lot of time zone conversions in order to know when exactly you will be able to play Starfield. For the early access period of Starfield and the full launch of the game, here are the exact release dates.

Release dates for Starfield’s early access program

It is expected that Starfield’s early access will begin on September 1 for those who have pre-ordered either the Premium Edition, Premium Edition Upgrade, or Constellation Edition of the game. It is important to note that due to the exact release time, this works out to be August 31 for the Americas:

• The deadline for US Pacific time is August 31 at 5 p.m.
• The US Eastern time zone is 8 p.m. on August 31 at 8 p.m.
• On September 1st, 1AM will be the time in the UK
• On September 1, 2AM will be the time in Europe

Starfield’s early access begins at 00:00 GMT, so if your region is not listed above, you can find out what time it begins in your region by converting 00:00 GMT to your local time.

Timetable for Starfield’s launch day release

There will be a full launch of Starfield on September 6, including Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. In the same vein as the early access release, this will also be released to everyone at the same time globally, so in the case of the Americas, it will be September 5:

• The deadline for the US Pacific time zone is 5 PM on September 5th
• Eastern Standard Time: 8 p.m. on September 5 at 8 p.m.
• On September 6, 1AM will be the time in the UK
• On September 6, 2AM will be the time in Europe
