There are a few ways to check how much VRAM you have. Here are some of them:
1. Check the labels on your graphics card. If you have a desktop computer, you can usually find the graphics card by opening the case. The graphics card will be a large, rectangular card that is plugged into the motherboard. There will usually be a label on the card that lists the specifications, including the amount of VRAM.
2. Check the Windows Settings app. On Windows 11, you can check your VRAM using the Windows Settings app. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open the Windows Settings app by pressing Windows + I.
- Click on System.
- Click on Display.
- Scroll down to the Advanced display settings section and click on Display adapter properties for Display 1.
- In the Display adapter properties window, look for the value under Dedicated video memory. This is the amount of VRAM that your graphics card has.
3. Use the DirectX Diagnostic Tool (DXDiag). DXDiag is a Windows tool that can be used to diagnose problems with your computer’s hardware and software. You can use DXDiag to check your VRAM by following these steps:
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type dxdiag and press Enter.
- In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window, click on the Display tab.
- Under the Display tab, look for the value under Dedicated Memory. This is the amount of VRAM that your graphics card has.
