‘Marble It Up! Ultra’ (PS5) – Colourful Arcade Game That Is Quite the Fun

It is no secret that Marble It Up! Ultra is the successor to the classic Marble Blast titles from the turn of the century. A sequel to Marble It Up!, this new entry follows the old adage of “bigger is better” by introducing a considerable amount of content for players to engage in.

This is a typical marble game that offers a mixture of momentum-based puzzles as well as platforming-based puzzles, so this is not a problem. Most of the levels within the game adhere to this theme, and the gameplay is very enjoyable and engaging. This is particularly true of the momentum-centric puzzles, as the game does an exceptional job of conveying speed with your marble. On some of the larger straightaways, you’ll find yourself traveling so fast that you’ll start getting anxious. You will be able to miss your mark by kilometers if you make a wrong move. The platforming levels do not convey this raw mayhem as effectively as the cliffside levels, but they do contain most of the challenge.

It is a wonderful experience to play Takeshi’s Castle as a marble. As the game has generous checkpoints, you won’t lose much progress if you reset. Keep an eye out for weird collisions if you reset — we hope this will be resolved soon. It’s sometimes difficult to complete some levels in the game because the time constraints appear either generous or almost impossible. As for consistency, it doesn’t seem to be a major problem, but it doesn’t seem to be a problem.

The title, in addition to providing a large number of levels to play, also includes a multiplayer mode, comprising 10 maps and various modes. The best is the Sumo mode, which is similar to King of the Hill. The vibrant color palette and creative level design of the game are evident in all modes, with sprawling environments displaying within the ethereal void where these marble games appear. You can also customize your marble by adding finishes, hats, and contrails.

Despite the fact that it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, there’s a lot of content in this game, and it’s a lot of fun to play.

Pros:

I feel great when I am picking up speed.

There is a lot of content on this site.

A multi-player game.

The possibilities for customisation are endless.

Cons:

Difficulty that is inconsistent

There is a collision issue when you respawn

There are no truly new developments in this area

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this game a 7 out of 10.
