How to Fall 7 Stories or More in Chrome Blob Form

Fall From a Great Height as a Chrome Blob

As a Chrome Blob in Fortnite, you can fall seven stories or more without getting damaged, but you need to know several things before you can do so. The first step is turning into a Chrome Blob, and once you are able to do that, you will need to find a way to get high enough to complete this assignment.

When you are in Chrome Blob form, you cannot take fall damage, but you are much more likely to engineer a situation to make use of this knowledge during this week’s Fortnite quests than during regular battle royale gameplay. Having it in your Fortnite playbook isn’t a bad idea, just in case you need to make a quick escape from a high platform, so here’s how to fall 7 stories or more in Chrome Blob form, in case you need it.

Turn Into a Chrome Blob

First, you need to become Chromed in Fortnite, and you can do so in a variety of ways, including being sucked up in the chrome tornadoes that spawn around the island or getting fired by certain Fortnite D-Launchers. The easiest way to obtain a Chrome Splash is to destroy chromed objects and find it in chests or random floor loot. By following the prompt to Blobify (click the left stick as usual), you’ll turn into a Chrome Blob that can take no fall damage.

Fall 7 Stories or More in Chrome Blob Form

In Chrome Blob form, you can gain height and fall 7 stories or more by visiting a Fortnite Flairship, Driftwood, or No Sweat Insurance airborne landmark, Blobify yourself once on board, then drop back down. You can do this almost anywhere by building a ramp at least seven sections high and falling from it – just be sure to add a few extra sections if the ground below is uneven, so you don’t fall short.
