How to Bounce in Fortnite on Three Hop Flowers
A Fortnite Hop Flower has taken root in the jungle biome as part of the Wilds theme. These plants play a somewhat passive role as opposed to other fresh flora, Fortnite Pod Plants, which can heal and attack opponents. Players can launch them to incredible heights with temporarily reduced gravity.
You need to find at least three plants in close proximity to complete a weekly Fortnite quest involving Hop Flowers. Here’s how to bounce on different Hop Flowers without landing in Fortnite.
Fortnite Hop Flowers Locations
From Shady Stilts in the north to Rumble Ruins in the center, Fortnite has Hop Flowers everywhere. You can find many more of these Hop Flowers growing in dense treetops above much of the area. To bounce on three Hop Flowers without landing, you need to find them grouped together. Besides sprouting from the dense treetops above much of the area, you can also find them on the ground.
In order to narrow this down, I’ve marked three areas on the map where you can find useful groups of flowers in the trees:
- West of Shady Stilts
- West of Creeky Compound
- Southeast of Creeky Compound
Using Hop Flowers Without Landing in Fortnite
In Fortnite Hop Flowers, you’ll be launched into the air, with a low-gravity Hop effect until you land. While airborne, you can steer yourself some with the left stick, so you can bounce from Hop Flower to Hop Flower with the right stick. Check out the surroundings first and plan your route so you don’t have to search for your next launch pad at the last minute. This quest can be completed when you hit three Hop Flowers without landing.
You can try this challenge after activating Roaming Redeploy, one of the recent Fortnite upgrades. If you get offered this perk during a match, it’s entirely down to luck (or rerolls) if you land on another Hop Flower. It allows you to redeploy your glider after bouncing on a Hop Flower, making a landing on another much easier.
