It’s worth it just for the slick first-person games in this bundle from Humble Bundle, which is made up of a plethora of value-packed cyberpunk games on sale for a couple more weeks.
You will need to pay at least $15 in order to get all the games, but as always, you can choose to donate more if you wish. In terms of this bundle, the charities that are participating are buildOn, which is a non-profit organization that helps establish schools in impoverished or developing areas, and Covenant House, an organization that tackles youth homelessness and all related challenges and resources. In the time since this article was written, the bundle has raised a total of $16,529 for charity according to Humble.
There are technically eight games that come with this cyberpunk game bundle, but one of them is a short but enjoyable addition to the bundle called Ghostrunner’s Project Hel. In terms of the remaining seven, they are almost universally praised, and I’d argue that at least a couple of them are considered to be standouts in the cyberpunk genre as a whole. The full lineup of the festival is as follows:
- Anno: Mutationem – Beat’em’up with a memorable female lead and an interactive world.
- Observer: System Redux is a superb investigative horror game that goes all in on mind hacking.
- Ghostrunner – A parkour playground with melee combat that rivals Doom Eternal in speed and brutality.
- Severed Steel – This time with guns and more destructive levels, a first-person game with incredible movement.
- Cloudpunk – An open-world courier sim that focuses more on taking in the sights and sounds of a great city.
- Voltage High Society – This is perhaps the most experimental first-person game on this list. Imagine a retro Metroidvania-lite FPS with mechanical monsters and inventive weapons.
- Gungrave G.O.R.E – A third-person action game with a medley of ridiculous guns similar to Bulletstorm.
