Where to Shoot Targets While Ziplining in Fortnite
If you can shoot targets while ziplining in Fortnite, you’re demonstrating a level of weapon proficiency beyond the basic spray-and-pray approach. However, before you can start showing off your shooting skills you need to know where to look, as while Fortnite Ziplines are available to provide rapid transit options across the map, only a few actually feature targets where you can shoot as you ride through.
Despite the fact that this Week 2 entry has the added complication of moving along a zipline at the same time, we’ve seen plenty of similar Fortnite quests that involve shooting down targets over the years, but at least it doesn’t have the time limits or accuracy requirements that have made previous Fortnite challenges more difficult. If you shoot half-decently and have a suitable weapon, you should have no problems shooting targets in Fortnite while ziplining.
Shoot Targets While Ziplining in Fortnite
There are four locations on the island where you can shoot targets while ziplining in Fortnite. To access them, ride the lines at the following locations then look down:
- North of Logjam Junction, between Seven Outpost II and Choppin’ Chateau
- Southwest of Rave Cave, between Seven Outpost V and Shroom Chalet
- South of Greasy Grove, by Fungi Farm
- Located above Chonker’s Speedway on the north side
These four locations don’t differ much in terms of their setup, but since Chonker’s Speedway zipline is right over a POI with a lot of buildings below, you might want to avoid it, as the other three will be quieter with fewer opponents to interrupt your target practice.
Using Fortnite’s Zipline to Shoot Targets
When you arrive at one of the locations detailed above, you must now zipline in Fortnite and shoot targets. During your ride along the line, you’ll see three targets below you, so if you hit three in total to complete the quest, you can do so without traveling anywhere else. Keep in mind that all three targets do not have to be hit at once, you can keep moving until they are all knocked down on the zipline. The best weapon to use for this challenge is probably an assault rifle or SMG, since shotguns might not have the range and only an expert marksman could hit a target with a sniper rifle while moving at speed.
