How to Find the Best Belts in Final Fantasy 16

The measly belt might not seem like much of a difference stat-wise. Nevertheless, Final Fantasy 16 makes sure you’re always aware of what’s around Clive’s waist. Throughout your journey across Valesthia, belts (along with vambraces and swords) are the only things you can actively modify about your character’s stat-sheet. As your level increases, your stats will increase, but to ensure that Clive is ready for whatever lies ahead, make sure you have the best gear. Let’s explore Final Fantasy 16’s best Belts and how to get them on a journey of our own.

How to Find the Best Belts in Final Fantasy 16

There are 15 belts in Final Fantasy 16, excluding those in the prologue and first mission. Taking a look at the five best belts in Final Fantasy 16, we will highlight the five best belts. There will be more to these than just the best stats in the game. Many players of FF16 are aware that the majority of the game follows a fairly linear path. It can be a game where finding and crafting new items can be one of the main objectives.

This is why we will examine five belts that may or may not be found through side ventures. Essentially, these belts will give you a slight edge over the other items you will naturally find throughout the game when compared to the other items you will naturally find. You will find this to be much more useful as you progress through the game. In this article, we will discuss how to acquire these stats and what their stats are.

What Are the 5 Best Belts in Final Fantasy 16 and Where Can I Find Them?

Demontamer’s Sash

The belts are listed in order of when you will be able to obtain them, and the first one is Demontamer’s Sash. Having acquired his father’s spiffy armor, Clive has every reason to swap out his late dad’s belt for this one. There isn’t much difference between the Metin Cross belt and the Metin Cross belt, but the Metin Cross belt has a 12/45 stat for HP and Defense. Despite its low score in both categories, the Demontamer’s Sash can be found in a chest in Northern Sanbreque.

Mythril Belt

Our next goal will be to find a decent amount passed our previous belt. If players aren’t aware of where to find the Mythril Belt, it can be missed. This illusive item is located northeast of the Velkroy Desert, and has a stat-line of 20 HP and 64 DEF. Putting you in a good position if you plan to do some side-quests before fighting Titan.

Drakeslayer’s Belt

As our first belt that doesn’t require you to search the map for a chest, the Drakeslayer’s Belt requires a different approach. In order to craft the belt, you must first obtain the Design Draft. As a side quest, you must complete “Blacksmith’s Blues” to get the Design Draft. This item can be crafted using Dragon Talon, Briar Clam Shell, Scarletite, and Electrum. The price is worth paying, since it has 23 HP and 74 DEF, putting to shame all early-game belts and many mid-game belts.

Regal Sash

The Regal Sash is our next chest to check as part of our regularly scheduled program of checking chests. There aren’t just your average monsters scattered around this chest south of The Krozjit Echoes in Dhalmekia. A Coeurl will be guarding this chest, a fearsome creature you’ve faced before. You’ll want to dispatch it as soon as possible. As for getting the best belt in the game, you’ll need a belt with 25 HP and 84 DEF on your way to completing the main story.

Ouroboros

A name that many Final Fantasy fans will recognize immediately, Ouroboros is one of the rarest belts in the game. A belt with 32 HP and 95 DEF has the best stats in the game. The first thing you’ll need to do in order to add this beauty to your collection is to take care of a few things. The Design Draft can be obtained by completing the side quest “Blacksmith’s Blues III”. To craft the belt, you will need one Orichalcum, one Comet Feather, and one Stone Tounge. If you’ve completed certain hunts, you’ll find all these materials on the Hunt Board. A belt can only be crafted from materials dropped by the most dangerous beasts.
