All Waypoint Locations and Fast Travel in Diablo 4

You will spend a lot of time exploring the world of Sanctuary in Diablo 4 if you unlock fast travel and Waypoints. There are just a few major towns and capital cities where you can regularly access most of the merchants and services you need in Diablo 4, so it’s not worth spending ages traveling between them. You will be able to fast travel around different areas to get close to where you need to be in order to complete quests quicker. You will find below information about Diablo 4 Waypoints, Return Town Portals, and everything else related to fast travel.

Diablo 4 Fast Travel Guide

To unlock fast travel in Diablo 4, you must unlock Waypoints, which are round, stone plates in the ground marked with circles and triangles in various settlements you discover while exploring Sanctuary. On your map, they appear as gray icons, but if you stand on a plate and follow the prompt, their icon turns bright blue and they become available. Kyovashad’s center is the first Waypoint you can unlock.

Open the map and select a Waypoint to begin teleporting to any Diablo 4 Waypoint that you’ve unlocked. Diablo 4 fast travel can be accomplished by tapping D-Pad Down, which will begin teleporting you to the nearest capital – in Fractured Peaks, that’s Kyovashad, and in Scosglen, it’s Cerrigar. If you accidentally triggered fast travel teleporting, you can cancel it by moving your character or attacking.

In Diablo 4, you’ll emerge from the Return Town Portal at your destination regardless of which way you fast travel. By going back through this portal, you will be teleported to your previous location while staying within the Waypoint’s location. If you travel from an area without any nearby Waypoints, you can quickly return to where you left off, be it in the wilderness or in a dungeon, so you can continue exploring. You will not be able to return to your previous location if you leave the confines of the town to which you fast travelled.
