In Fortnite, Where Can You Find the Pod Plants?
There are lots of Pod Plants to be found in Fortnite, but they can only be found in a new jungle biome that extends from Shady Stilts, which is located in the north of the island, all the way down to Creeky Compound and Rumble Ruins. As far as the three different types of plants are concerned, they are all fairly evenly distributed throughout the entire region of this park. However, if you are looking for a decent cluster of them together, you might want to look in the vicinity of Shady Stilts, inside the Rumble Ruins themselves, or in the vicinity of The Apparatus, just south east of Creeky Compound.
What Are Fortnite Pod Plants Used For?
Fortnite Pod Plants can be classified into three different types based on their color, and these three types can be identified in the jungle by looking at their colors:
- Purple = Bomb Flower
- Yellow = Stink Flower
- Blue = Slurp Plants
Pod Plants generate a different effect depending on how they are triggered, and when they are triggered with a gun or a melee weapon, one of those effects will be triggered. There is a Bomb Flower that launches through the air before exploding where it lands, while there is a Stink Flower that emits a cloud of noxious gas that will soon lead to anyone coming into contact with it being afflicted with sickness. In addition to that familiar blue healing goo, the Slurp Plants also exude that familiar soothing scent into the environment. However, if you are near the plant when it explodes, then you will be able to benefit from the effect of boosted health and shields.
