Fortnite Chrome Vortex Locations
With Fortnite Chrome Vortex, you can transform into Chrome and re-deploy your glider from the top to travel long distances quickly. With the advent of Fortnite’s shiny threat, several Chrome Vortexes are now appearing as they spread around the island in each match. They resemble a tornado of liquid metal swirling around.
There are a number of reasons why you might want to take advantage of the Chrome Form. These reasons include the ability to redeploy your glider at a decent height to speed up your journey. As part of Fortnite’s Week 7 quest, you’ll have to enter one of these imposing twisters, so knowing where they can be found is imperative.
Here’s everything you’ll need to know about the Fortnite Chrome Vortex because they’re not particularly complicated to find because of their size.
Locate the Fortnite Chrome Vortex
Fortnite Chrome Vortex locations are randomized for each match when you arrive on the battle bus. The Chrome Vortex was just available once a match in the early part of the season around Herald’s Sanctum, east of the island, and even though you are still likely to find one there, a second metallic whirlwind is spawning somewhere else, so you can go somewhere else to enter the Chrome Vortex.
Getting into a Fortnite Chrome Vortex
This quest requires you to approach a Chrome Vortex in Fortnite and be drawn into the swirling liquid metal within it in order to enter it. By aiming upwards and pushing forward, you will be able to reach the top of Fortnite’s Chrome Vortex, and you will be able to phase and blob into any building below.
If you need to escape storm circles or spot enemies from high above, the glider can be used to help you escape or spot enemies should you have to escape from storm circles.
