The Best Way to Hide Inside a Giant Snowball in Fortnite
This Fortnite Winterfest quest requires you to make three snowballs. Before you start, make sure you know where the three areas you need to visit are: Frosty Firs, Brutal Bastion, and Lonely Labs. They are all located in the winter northeast corner. If you repeatedly hit snowy terrain with your pickaxe, you can create giant snowballs. The snow clumps together as you hack at the snowy ground.
The snowball will form after several pickaxe hits, but you can keep hitting it until the snowball is about the same height as your player. As soon as the giant snowball reaches its largest size, the snow stabilizing the ground will disappear, causing the snowball to roll. Now all you have to do is hide.
Before your giant snowball rolls away, click the ‘Hide’ button. It’s impossible to control or stay inside, but you can at least jump out if you like. If you hit snowy terrain four times in a row, you’ll have to make a snowball big enough for you to jump into. Once the snowball’s formed, push it to release it, and then hide. Repeat these steps at the other two Fortnite map locations to complete the Winterfest challenge!
