The Outlast Trials Outfits and How to Unlock Them

A Multiplayer Horror Game wouldn’t be a Multiplayer Horror Game without Cosmetic Items. In recent years, Video Games have primarily used this method to express their creativity. Hogwarts Legacy offers a lot of clothing and gear, while Apex Legends, Call of Duty and Overwatch provide new Skins and Camo to purchase on a regular basis. It is rare to find a video game that does not follow this reward/purchase system for cosmetic items. Players, friends, or randoms can express themselves and feel closer to their characters when playing Horror Games. The cyberpunk or dystopian look feels more immersive than a simple tee and pants, because you often cannot wear the outfits seen in these types of games. This is Vincent’s guide to unlocking all outfits in The Outlast Trials for those who want to stand out.

The Outlast Trials: How to Unlock All Outfits

Players can customize their characters’ appearances in Outlast Trials. Characters can be selected based on their sex, race, and facial construction. Even though you cannot add facial hair or edit all facial features, you can unlock outfits to freshen up your player’s outward appearance. At the time of the game’s initial release, there were four outfits available. As the Classified Program changes throughout the seasons and players try new Murkoff challenges, these will likely be added throughout the Early Access period. However, players have discovered that there are 16 Legendary Outfits hidden in the Closed Beta’s game files.

The Outlast Trials currently offer the following outfits for all players:

  • Good Doctor
  • Redemption
  • Rusted Llizarov
  • Maverick

Players receive these outfits at specific timestamps in The Outlast Trials. In order to do so, they must complete the trials directly related to their program in full. As a result, completing the first trial of a Program, such as inside the Police Station, will not yield rewards like Release Tokens or outfits. As a result, to see the game’s ending, you will need to complete all trials, progressing in difficulty for each Program until you gain 10 Release Tokens. After becoming a Reborn (finishing the game), players are rewarded with all outfits. To unlock all of The Outlast Trials’ current outfits, you must reborn four times. Under Outfits, within the Character Customization screen, you can purchase these for 10,000 once they are open.

Completing trials can earn you money. In order to afford a Legendary Outfit, you must consistently get high grades across the Programs. Remember that you can only unlock one outfit at a time after completing the game. Therefore, to get access to the outfits, you will need to collect 40 Release Tokens, then pay 40,000 to buy and use them.
