How to Defeat the Fortnite Highcard Boss

The Best Way to Defeat a Fortnite Highcard Boss

Highcard bosses appear in three different locations at the same time, a first for Fortnite Battle Royale. They provide a decent challenge in combat like previous bosses, but if you decide to fight them, you’ll get some great rewards for removing them. In Week 4, you’ll be able to take them down as part of a Fortnite quest, so finding them is another good reason to do so. The following guide will help you defeat a Highcard Boss in Fortnite.

Fortnite Highcard Boss Location

Fortnite Highcard Bosses will spawn in three different areas of the island, just after the first storm eye shrinking phase is completed. They will appear at the following named locations:

  • Brutal Bastion
  • Shattered Slabs
  • Mega City

In every match, all three bosses will appear, so you will have multiple chances to fight them. Fortnite Highcard Boss icons will appear on your map if you are nearby, which will help you track them down when they patrol with their henchmen around the area. The icon will disappear once the Highcard Boss has already been defeated, so you can see if it has already been defeated.

Defeating the Fortnite Highcard Boss

The Fortnite Highcard Boss can be defeated simply by inflicting some damage on them once they’re located. As long as you dealt some damage to them and were still active in the match when the Highcard Boss was defeated, you will be awarded the assist for helping take them down. You don’t actually need to be the player who delivers the final blow.

You should be prepared if you plan to fight the Fortnite Highcard Boss yourself. They’ll be flanked by two Wild Card Suits henchmen who can deliver severe damage to you. Highcard Boss has 200 Shield and 200 Health, which is tough but not insurmountable if you focus a series of hits on them, after which they’ll be downed and you’ll need to deal some final damage to finish them off. Before dealing with the henchmen, you can grab their dropped Keycard for Fortnite Vaults and Mythic Highcard’s Havoc Suppressed Rifle.
