While IRONMACE developers have been tinkering with their PvEvP experience Dark and Darker in order to try and manipulate it, the company released a new playtest in the middle of their legal battles and issues. Described as “Escape From Tarkov but medieval,” Dark and Darker’s latest playtest has not only brought the game back, but has added all new features. Your inventory even has a new slot, a new map, and a new class. In the right-hand side of your body gear, you’ll find this slot. It comes with a good armor rating and decent stat boosts. In Dark and Darker, let’s figure out how to get the cape by lockpicking a chest.
The Cape in Dark and Darker
Obtaining this flowing piece of fabric can be challenging if you’re playing alone. A pile of bones isn’t the only place where these items can be found. There may be several different places where players can find a cape, according to the community. Although capes are the only item that fit in that specific inventory slot at the moment, its name is not cape, but back. It wouldn’t be surprising if there were other unique back pieces other than capes with further updates and development.
A fancy back cape can be found in the chest found after defeating the Ogre boss in the Goblin Cave after you have defeated the Ogre boss. The best way to see if anyone is currently selling one is to browse the market board, but you will need to have gold on hand to be able to do that. In addition, while it is rare, many people have found capes within Lion Chests. Checking some Lion Chests requires a decent team or invisibility potion because they’re usually surrounded by fearsome foes. While random mobs will occasionally drop capes, these two (or three) methods are the fastest way to look like your favorite superhero. Do not let anything happen to you and keep your wits about you at all times. There is no doubt that there is someone who already owns that fancy-looking cape, but not you.
