The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Weapons

Tears of the Kingdom Weapons Confirmed and What’s Coming Back

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has confirmed many weapons, with promotional material revealing several of them. Some are returning from Breath of the Wild and some have been added for Tears of the Kingdom. Based on what we know at the time of writing, we’ll cover the ones mentioned below, which ones appear to be the best, and how to obtain the best weapons in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom Weapons

Here are all the weapons that have been officially revealed so far for Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, many of which you may be familiar with, and some of which you may not be. We will discuss fused weapons further down the page.

The weapons with a (BOTW) sign are the ones we saw in the previous game. If they aren’t, they are partially original.

  • Farmer’s Pitchfork (BOTW)
  • Long Stick
  • Old Wooden Shield
  • Tree Branch (BOTW)
  • Wooden Stick

Among other weapons, we have seen images of axes and handheld devices that fire bombs, but we do not know the names or details of those weapons. As more weapons are revealed, we will update this list. However, clearly, the focus is on the weapons you create, rather than the ones you find.

Weapon Fusion

With the updated Fuse ability, Link can fuse weapons with other gear to enhance or alter them. We’ve discussed about it on our page concerning the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom fusions and the fused ability. However, the idea is that players will be able to merge weapons together or merge weapons with other materials to change how they function.

Consequently, it looks like the best weapons in the game are likely to be fusions – combining the most powerful weapons in terms of pure numbers with special materials and other weapons to enhance their strengths and nullify their weaknesses, even helping with the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom weapon durability stat. Not only that, but you can create specialized fusions that deal with enemies you’re fighting – so the most effective weapons might be very circumstantial and situational in this game.
