Event Guide for Halo Infinite Interference

The Halo Infinite Interference event marks the beginning of Season 2, featuring fresh armor for the Rakshasa core and other cosmetic items. The latest season of Halo Infinite brings in numerous additions to the game, such as new maps, modes, and cosmetic items available through an enhanced Battle Pass. The Interference event acts as a teaser for some of these new features, highlighting the Last Spartan Standing mode as the main attraction. Additionally, the event progresses the overarching storyline by revealing the activities of the Lone Wolves.

What is the Halo Infinite Interference Event?

The Lone Wolves storyline in Halo Infinite Season 2 features two narrative events, with Interference being one of them. It involves a brief cutscene that sheds light on the plot. The objective of the event is to participate in Last Spartan Standing matches on the new Breaker map, which is a simulated version of a Banished shipbreaking facility based on the schematics from the Banished AI called Iratus. Spartan Commander Agryna intends to provoke Iratus and draw him out of Spartan Dinh’s containment by running these simulations. Furthermore, the event provides a free event pass for all players, allowing them to obtain unique items. The central focus of the event revolves around the Last Spartan Standing mode.

When Is the Halo Infinite Interference Event?

The Interference event commenced on May 3, coinciding with the launch of Season 2, and will continue until May 16, lasting for two weeks. It is a unique event, and unlike the upcoming Fracture: Entrenched recurring event, it will not return once it ends. It is important to note that the Last Spartan Standing mode and the Breaker Big Team Battle map will remain even after the conclusion of the event since they are permanent features added in Season 2. Additionally, keep an eye out for the Alpha Pack, the next narrative event of Season 2, which will release in July.

Here are the rewards you can get from the Halo Infinite Interference event pass:

Last Spartan Standing Mode

In Season 2 of Halo Infinite, the Last Spartan Standing mode is newly introduced and available to all players. It is a simplified version of the battle royale genre, featuring a limited number of Spartans competing against each other to become the last survivor.

Unlike other battle royale games, there is no loot to collect except for power-ups in occasional ordnance drops and grenades. All 12 players begin with a Disruptor and Sidekick, and new weapons can be earned by accumulating points from kills and assist. Once a certain point threshold is reached, players can level up their weapons, but they cannot choose which weapons they will receive; instead, it follows a predetermined weapon sequence that includes the Mangler, Assault Rifle, and eventually, the Battle Rifle.

In addition, players have five lives before they are permanently eliminated, allowing ample opportunities to reduce their opponents’ lives. As the number of remaining Spartans decreases, a red ring will appear on the map, pushing all players together to fight until only one remains.
