A Guide to Obtaining the Manderville Weapons in the FFXIV Endwalker Relic Weapon Series

FFXIV’s relic weapons are widely regarded as the strongest weapons in the game, but obtaining them requires a significant investment of time across multiple updates, making the process a true test of dedication. The first phase of the Endwalker Relic weapon series, also known as Manderville Weapons, has recently become available. In this guide, we will provide a comprehensive walkthrough on how to obtain your very own Manderville Relic weapon.

Endwalker Relic Weapon Prerequisite Quests

To begin crafting the Endwalker relic weapon, you must have finished all previous Hildibrand Manderville Quests. While this may require completing numerous quests, it’s worthwhile as the Manderville storyline is considered the most amusing and unlocks a variety of costumes, pets, and challenges. Each expansion in Final Fantasy XIV has its own starting location for these quests, with the exception of Shadowbringers, which does not feature any Manderville quests. The following is a list of where to find each segment of the questline.

How to Make a Manderville Relic Weapon

To begin creating your first relic weapon, the initial step is to change your Job to the one for which you want the weapon. Once you commence the quest, you will only be able to obtain the relic weapon for the Job you have selected. While you can repeat the quest for other Jobs, the expense is relatively high, so it’s crucial to be certain about your selection the first time.

To begin the “Make it a Manderville” quest, visit the House Manderville Manservant in the Radz-at-han Aetheryte Plaza, who will then send you to The High Crucible of Al-Kimiya for an introduction. Your mission is to locate three pieces of Manderium Meteorite. You can then return to the Aetheryte Plaza and speak with Jubrunnuh, who sells the necessary items for 500 Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy each. You will need a total of 1,500 tombstones to obtain all three meteorites. After acquiring them, go back to The High Crucible of Al-Kimiya to create your weapon.

Although the current ilvl is only 615, it will improve in future updates as you refine it. To repeat the quest and craft weapons for other Jobs, talk to the House Manderville Artisan in The High Crucible of Al-Kimiya, who can be easily identified as he’s wearing only pants. He’ll assign you another task of locating three more Manderium Meteorites, which will cost you another 1,500 Tomestones of Astronomy. You may repeat the quest as many times as you wish.

Tips for Earning Tomestones of Astronomy

If you lack the required number of Tomestones, the fastest approach to earning them is by completing all of your daily roulettes, which will earn you a total of 720 Tomestones through rewards. You may also collect Tomestones by participating in level 90 dungeons and raids, making it worthwhile to repeat those. Additionally, you can receive Tomestones by completing treasure maps, Tribal quests, and Khloe Aliapoh’s Wondrous Tails diaries.
