Sons of the Forest: How to Craft All Armor Types

With a mere iron armor, I felt strong enough to defeat giants and dragons. Obviously, I got decimated and stepped on like an ant, but I tried my best. Things turned around for me once I got hold of some really impressive weapons and armor in the game. Wearing the right clothing can also be a very good offensive move, since it impairs your opponent in practice. An evil island filled with mutants would be the perfect place to use it. You can craft all armor types in Sons of the Forest by following the steps below.

Sons of the Forest: How to Craft All Armor Types

You must protect yourself from the dangers and evils of the wild. Wearing a sturdy, heavy armor set will certainly provide you with some extra protection compared to putting all your eggs in the weapon basket. Moreover, mutant cannibals are relentless, and bullets can come from anywhere. Now that you’re ready to make one of those armors, let’s figure out which one will be best suited for you. The following is a list of all the armor types available in Sons of the Forest, as well as how to craft them.

An overview of all armor types and how they are crafted

Bone Armor – x4 Bones, x1 Duct Tape, x1 Rope – With a defense stat bonus and items that are relatively easy to collect.

Creepy Armor – Mutant Skin, Combat Knife – Creepy armor, you say. Quite curious, where will we find Mutant Skin? Mutants, of course. You can craft it by killing them.

Golden Armor – One of the best armors in the game, you’ll find it in the bunker near a lake, just southeast of the snowy mountains. It will give you maximum defense, but you will require the Maintenance Key to get it.

Hide Armor – x1 Cloth, x2 Animal, Hide – Gathered by killing and skinning animals in the wild. This cold-protective armor can be created by doing that.

Leaf Armor – x10 Leaf, x1 Cloth – Oh well, if you want to be Tarzan, who am I to judge. It is the easiest armor to make, but it does not provide much protection, so it should be discarded when you get a new one.

Tech Armor – x1 Tech Mesh, x1 Duct Tape, x1 Batteries, x1 Wire, x1 Circuit Board, Printer Resin 250ml (Tech Mesh) – As you can see, this armor takes quite a good amount of items that are not as common as the other armor sets in the list. Although it reduces damage, it costs a lot of time and resources. Don’t buy this armor until you’ve thought about it.

Making a defensive move

The armors shown above are some of the best. As good as Leaf and Hide armor are in the early game, Bone and Golden armor are much better for the dangers you will face in the future. How about the Tech Armor? If you want to do it, go ahead, but I say it isn’t worth it. Anyhow, I wish you the best of luck with your choice and best of luck with your life.
