FIFA 23 Heroes honours well-known former athletes who don’t quite deserve Icon rank. Two distinct types can be found in FIFA 23. The 40 base Heroes have a similar feel to the previous year and boost Chemistry when used with other players from the same league. Marvel-style trading cards for another 21 Super Heroes are related to the World Cup in Qatar. Below, we go over how everything functions. What are FIFA 23 Heroes cards?
Heroes goods stand in for former greats who, although not quite FIFA 23 Icons, merit digital immortality. Everyone is connected to a specific league where they excelled during their playing careers. Favorites from FIFA 22 like David Ginola and Abedi Pele are back, and newcomers like Park Ji-Sung and an amazing Yaya Toure card are also included. The Ivorian is making his first appearance in a series since FIFA 18.
How about FIFA 23 Super Heroes items?
EA partnered with Marvel to provide FIFA 23 Super Heroes merchandise with a comic book theme to coincide with FIFA 23 World Cup Swaps. Every person on the list has base Heroes cards as well, which are often rated 1-3 points less than their Super Heroes stuff. Examples of these players include Diego Forlan and Rudi Voller. A complete list of Super Heroes cards is available further down this page. There are 21 in all. There were other pieces of entertainment with a Qatari subject as well. We also received FIFA 23 World Cup Phenoms midway through the contest.
How are FIFA 23 Heroes affected by the new Chemistry system?
Heroes cards from the previous year awarded green links to anyone positioned next to them from the same league. Nevertheless, this year’s green links are gone, and Chemistry is now scored out of 33 rather than 100. So what happens?
In their prefered positions, Heroes always have full chemistry. Also, they count as two increments in determining your side’s League Chemistry Threshold and one increment in determining its Country/Region Chemistry Threshold. Handy.

What’s the deal with Okocha and Nakata’s Icon cards?
Particularly notable FIFA 23 Heroes include Jay-Jay Okocha and Hidetoshi Nakata. They were demoted to Heroes status this year after spending several years as in-game Symbols. Unfortunately, these players will not get any FIFA 23 Basic Icons cards.
Super Heroes and ordinary Heroes cards are both available. In a nod to his time with Roma, Parma, and Fiorentina, each Nakata card features a representation of Serie A. Yet Okocha is a member of two distinct leagues. The Nigerian maestro’s Super Heroes card features the Ligue 1 emblem after he played for PSG, while his standard, Premier League-based Heroes item honours his time at Bolton.
