Ubisoft and Dark Horse Collaborate on the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Art Book and Guide

The World of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Journey to the North—Logs and Files of a Hidden One, a 208-page hardcover art book that offers “a detailed overview of the lore and history that inspired Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” is set to be released in March as a “Deluxe Edition” by Dark Horse Books and video game developer Ubisoft.

A “leather-like” protective slipcase, a matching folio with two gallery-quality prints, and an exclusive cover “fitted with genuine Viking decoration” are all elements included in the deluxe version that are not present in the basic edition.

As they battle the Order of the Ancients, they learn about the history and culture of the Raven Clan Vikings, according to Dark Horse.

The $99.99 book, which goes on sale on March 14 in bookstores and March 15 at comic book stores, offers a comprehensive look at the game’s setting and representations and descriptions of the characters and locals as the Vikings migrate from Norway to England, Ireland, and France.

Insidious Creed Players in Valhalla, the most recent instalment in the venerable Assassin’s Creed series, assume the role of Viking raider Eivor hundreds of years in the past as they establish a foothold in England and become engaged with the eponymous assassins – and their conflict with the Templars. The number of DLC packages has already expanded upon the base game’s story.

In the three-issue limited series Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Forgotten Myths, which was released by Dark Horse last year, three other Norse mythological figures—Thor, Baldr, and Heimdall—come together to fight a fire giant from Muspelheim and discover that a whole Muspel army is gathering in preparation for an invasion. They must try to find peace before a war breaks out across the Nine Realms.
