While the Dead Space remake is faithful to the original with a few changes, it’s not completely the same. Along with the alternate ending, new secrets are hidden on the USG Ishimura.

HEAD TO THE BRIDGE THEN BREAK ROOM
You must enter the cheat code for the Easter egg and free nodes simultaneously. But it won’t be available until the fourth chapter, “Obliteration Imminent.”. When the Brute necromorph is dispatched in the Bridge’s Main Atrium, the elevators will unlock. Taking the elevator closest to where the Brute appeared will take you down to Floor 1 for the Reroute Power from Electrical Systems objective (you can return here at any time).
Exit the elevator and walk down the hall until you see the Break Room on the right. The Break Room has a circle painted on its floor (we hope it’s painted) and the Aegis VII Marker video is playing.
DO A LIL’ DANCE
Place yourself in the center of the circle. You will perform melee strikes (R1) and stomps (R2). Isaac steps forward with every attack, so you have to move him back and forth between each punch and kick if you want to keep him in the circle.
SEA SHANTY
As you stand in the circle, hit: melee, stomp, melee, stomp, melee, stomp, melee, melee, melee, melee, melee, melee, stomp. You can view the buttons here: R1, R2, R1, R2, R1, R2, R1, R2, R1, R1, R1, R1, R1, R2.
A red video screen will appear ahead of you, and an audio log will appear next to it. Take a listen and you’ll hear a nostalgic callback to 2020.
TEXT LOG
In this code, the handprints are punches and the footprints are stomps – painted around the circle.
If you want to locate a secret text log, you can use the following commands: melee, stomp, stomp, stomp, melee, stomp, melee, stomp, stomp (or R1, R2, R2, R2, R1, R1, R2).
Again, the screen will flash red, and a text log will appear. Praise be to the Markers, and to Altman, their eternal prophet.
FREE NODES
The following steps should be done for two free nodes: melee, melee, stomp, melee, melee, stomp, stomp, melee, melee, melee, stomp, stomp (R1, R1, R2, R1, R1, R2, R1, R1, R2, R1).
Two free nodes will appear on the ground next to you after another red flash. Sadly, this is the closest thing you can find to the original cheat codes. You’ll have to use the infinite ammo exploit to get even more free nodes.
