Hogwarts Legacy is complete with magical potion ingredients for you to collect and use. An example of those ingredients is Spider Fang. This potent venomous alchemical agent is a key potion-brewing ingredient, so you will need to know how to obtain it.
We’re talking about how to get Spider Fangs in Hogwarts Legacy. We’ll explain what Spider Fang drops are, how to find them, and what they’re used for.
Hogwarts Legacy – How to Get Spider Fangs
Getting Spider Fangs in Hogwarts Legacy is remarkably simple. As you may have realized, Spider Fangs drop from spiders.
This means you’ll need to defeat some spiders in order to get Spider Fangs. When you defeat a spider in combat, there’s a chance that it will leave a Spider Fang behind for you to loot.
So, how do you find spiders to fight? If you’re more than eight or nine hours into the game, then you already know the answer – the Forbidden Forest.
Specifically, you’ll find several Spider Lairs dotted around the Forbidden Forest if you zoom your map in. They’re the symbols with a spider’s web, in case you couldn’t tell.
Once you’ve made it to the lair, a bunch of spiders will spawn. Defeat them, and some of them will drop Sider Fangs.
It’s not a guaranteed drop, but the odds are quite high. You’re bound to get at least two or three from a spider’s lair.
What Are Spider Fangs Used For in Hogwarts Legacy?
The main use for Spider Fangs in Hogwarts Legacy is to brew Maxima Potions. These potions increase your spell damage for a few seconds, so they’re quite powerful if you put Talent Points into potion-crafting.
Aside from that, there’s not much to do with Spider Fangs. Make as many Maxima Potions as you need. It’s not like you’ll need the Fangs for something else.
