You can save time in a game as complex as Stardew Valley by using Stardew Valley cheats. It might look like a simple game where you tend your crops or enjoy a beer at the local Stardrop Saloon from the outside. However, once you start playing it, it isn’t really that simple. We have a few Stardew Valley cheats for those of you who don’t want to put in all the hours and work to get where you want. And honestly, there’s no shame in taking shortcuts.
There’s a cheat for that if you’re tired of clock-watching to make sure you’re not stuck outside past 2 AM. Or maybe you want to get that Prismatic Shard you’ve worked so hard for. You can do just that too. For more information on how to use Stardew Valley cheats, check out our guide below.
Stardew Valley Galaxy Sword Cheat
By holding a Prismatic Shard between the Three Pillars in the Calico Desert, you can obtain the Galaxy Sword, a powerful and rare item. Due to the rarity of the Prismatic Shard, getting yourself a Galaxy Sword is not easy. Unless you use this cheat. To buy green wallpaper, you need to buy the catalog from Pierre’s General Store. This catalog is 30,000g, but it also gives you unlimited access to all wallpapers and floors. If you stand in the right spot in Calico Desert, the game recognizes the green wallpaper as a Prismatic Shard and will turn it into a Galaxy Sword.
Stardew Valley Out Of Bounds Cheat
As you move forward, you’ll shift if you get out a tool or weapon and start swinging it at the edge of an area. If you repeat this action enough, you will actually step out of bounds and access areas of the game you aren’t supposed to. This is, for example, further out to sea or, less helpfully, into the darkness surrounding your home. As a fisherman, you’ll find this one useful as it will help you move closer to unreachable bubbles when your fishing skills aren’t high enough.
Stardew Valley Gold Spring Onions Cheat
If you are looking for energy, especially in the first year, spring onions will help you out. Foraging only gold-quality spring onions will save you money and energy. Fill up your inventory and make sure one slot is filled with golden spring onions. Make sure you don’t have any low-quality spring onions in your inventory. Then, your character won’t pick up a spring onion if it isn’t gold quality. You can stack it on top of the one you already have, and so on.
Stardew Valley Extended Fishing Cheat
You’ll need to spend a lot of time sitting by the water if you want to improve your fishing skills all the way to level 10. Factoring in travel to get to an appropriate fishing spot and getting home afterward is going to be a big time drain. If you have an active quest in your journal, there is a handy exploit that gives you much more fishing time. When you cast your line, open your journal, and wait – it will pause time in-game, but your fishing will continue uninterrupted. It is possible to fish for much longer than you would normally be able to in a single session if you reel in a fish and repeat the process.
Stardew Valley Delay Sleep Cheat
You really should consider getting your character to bed after midnight in Stardew Valley, as the day cycle lasts from 6 am to 2 am. If you reach 2 am and you’re still up and about, you pass out where you stand. You then wake up in bed, having been dragged home and tucked in by a helpful soul. Despite this, they aren’t doing it out of kindness, and you will lose 10% of your money (up to 1,000g) for this service, which can be quite expensive.
In other words, if you’re stuck outside at 2 am, or you just want to accomplish something more before you go to sleep, open your journal when your character begins to yawn. If you do this, you won’t pass out – the game will try to trigger this action several more times, so be sure to keep opening your journal when you yawn, as this will keep you going longer and save you from a nap rescue.
Stardew Valley Item Duplication Cheat For Unlimited Money
There’s no bigger cheat than this one in Stardew Valley! Every item in the game has a unique numerical code. When you use three of these codes as your character name, the items will spawn in your inventory every time your name is called. By naming yourself [163][166][434], you will receive a Legend fish, Treasure Chest, and Stardrop whenever the game mentions your name. These are items that you can sell for 5,000g, 5,000g, and 7,777g respectively, although the Stardrop often gets consumed automatically rather than remaining in your inventory. Gus the bartender at the saloon frequently mentions your name if you want to speed this process up.
When purchasing and naming animals, you can also use this Stardew Valley cheat, but the item(s) can only be acquired once. To get the specific item(s) you need, you should purchase a chicken and enter the code(s) when naming it. Changing the order of the codes or adding a number or letter at the end may allow it to go through. This is if you’re using the same codes and are having trouble repeating an animal name.
