PS5 controllers – how do they work with PS4 Remote Play?
With the PS Remote Play app you can play PS4 games via PC or Mac as long as you’ve enabled Remote Play on your console. It is possible to use your PS4 controller on your DualSense Controller when playing Remote Play this way. You can also use your PS5 controller on your PC when you access Remote Play this way.
To do that, follow these steps:
- You can download the PS Remote Play PC and Mac app and install it on your computer.
- Log in to your PlayStation Network account on your PS4 and make sure it is connected to the internet.
- Follow the instructions to login to your PSN account after opening the Remote Play app on your computer or Mac.
- On the right side of your screen, click the PS4 icon once you’ve signed in. By connecting the PS4 console this way, the app will attempt to connect it.
- The DualSense controller needs to be connected to your computer using a USB-C cable once you have opened the Remote Play app and connected the PS4 to it.
