History
There is no doubt that Tekken 3 is one of the most popular and well-loved fighting games in history. The game was released in arcades in 1997 and on the PlayStation in 1998. There are a number of different characters in the game, each of which has their own unique moves and combos. One of the greatest video games of all time, Tekken 3 is considered the definitive installment in the Tekken series.
Gameplay
It can be said that the gameplay in Tekken 3 builds on the foundations laid down by its predecessors. In the game, players can choose from a roster of over 20 different characters, each with their own unique set of moves and abilities. There are a variety of modes in the game, such as Arcade, Versus, and Story modes. There are also enhanced gameplay mechanics in Tekken 3, such as sidestepping and environmental hazards.
In Tekken 3, the Story mode picks up right where it left off in Tekken 2. The game takes place after the events of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2, in which Heihachi Mishima is defeated by his son, Kazuya Mishima, in a very close match. However, the peace was short lived. Soon, new Tekken tournament was announced, and as a result, the fighters once more had to battle for their lives.
Critical Success
After its release, Tekken 3 was met with critical acclaim from a wide range of critics. As a result of the game’s improved graphics and gameplay mechanics, the game received a lot of praise. In my opinion, it is positively one of the greatest fighting games of all time. Undeniably, it is a must-play game for anyone who loves the genre and wants to play the best fighting games ever. Tekken 3 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
