Choo-Choo Charles: Beginner’s guide

There are no real difficulties in Choo-Choo Charles, but you may be wondering about the most effective weapons or what happens when you die. We will provide you with some tips about the game so that you can learn all of this and more.

Choo-Choo Charles’s tips and tricks can be found on this page. This guide will show you the most effective locomotive upgrades, how to start the final battle with Charles, and which weapons to use against the boss.

Upgrade Your Armor First

Prioritize upgrading the armor – it costs scrap and is also used for repairs. After making repairs, you will be able to save more scrap for other upgrades if you take less damage. Firepower is another worthwhile investment.

Speed is not particularly relevant and noticeable when fighting Charles – it rather affects the speed of moving around the world map.

Leave Collecting Eggs For Last

Three guarded eggs must be collected as part of the main story. Run away if you know where to go and how to leave quickly. There won’t be a single attack that can kill you.

Be well prepared for the final showdown after Charles receives the eggs and is buffed.

Which Weapon Is Most Effective?

There are 4 weapons available in Choo-Choo Charles:

Derailer – basic starting rifle. You have little chance of winning the last fight if you try to use it against Charles.

Bug Spray – a type of flamethrower, a short-range weapon. High damage and forgiving (especially when it comes to inaccuracy).

BOB – heavy machine gun with highly balanced parameters (range, firepower, rate of fire).

The Boomer – rocket launcher. High damage, slow reload. If you miss Charles, he can get you quickly.

BOB is considered the best weapon because of its balance and lack of significant flaws. The second option is Bug Spray, a good alternative if you don’t have highly developed locomotive speed.

Consequences Of Death

The game does not end if you die. However, it is better to avoid death:

You will lose all scrap if you die outside the locomotive.

Charles will also have to sacrifice Scrap – 10 pieces if he attacks you in the locomotive and wins.
