On the controller, players can toggle Legacy Mode aim assist on and off. As long as it’s within reason, it’ll automatically turn towards the target in its view. You can get a perfect shot on an enemy even if you’re not too quick. For new Overwatch 2 players, it can really help level the playing field. Here’s how to turn it on.

First thing you’ll need to do is hit your designated button to bring up the game’s menu. Select Options. On that screen, click Controls. When you land on the General category, you’ll want to turn on Legacy mode aim assist. Select Advanced from the Controller sub-category. Scroll down and toggle On Aim Assist Legacy Mode. You should be able to tell the difference right away.
